Go to NeoHospital, click Join Shift, pick a neopet (don't pick battledome pet), click Join Volunteer Team. Wait for 6 hours return for +20 plot points and an item.
Reserve Barracks
Goto Reserve Barracks, choose a difficulty and click Fight these Challengers, you will go through a series of battles. Each victory gives you +10 plot points, you can do 4 rounds for total of 200 plot points.
